Dr. Ignacio Jaramillo is a distinguished expert in the field of Tourism Law, possessing extensive experience in academia and research. Currently, he holds the position of Professor of Tourism Law at the University of International Tourism (UIT) in Bolivia. For over two decades, he has devoted his efforts to research and teaching in subjects related to tourist legislation and sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Dr. Jaramillo has authored numerous articles and books on legal matters in tourism and has actively taken part in research projects funded by international organizations. His experience encompasses advising governments, NGOs, and companies on legal issues associated with tourism.
As a prominent member of the academic community in Tourism Law, Dr. Jaramillo takes pride in contributing to the Tourism Law Observatory of Latin America and the Caribbean as an Academic Expert and Associated Researcher.
