Dr. Sara Castrillón is a distinguished expert in the field of Tourism Law with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently, she holds the position of Professor of Tourism Law at the University of International Tourism (UIT) in Chile. For over two decades, she has dedicated her efforts to research and teaching in subjects related to tourist legislation and sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Dr. Castrillón has authored numerous articles and books on legal issues in tourism and has actively participated in research projects funded by international organizations. Her experience includes advising governments, NGOs, and companies on legal matters associated with tourism.
As a distinguished member of the academic community in Tourism Law, Dr. Gutierrez takes pride in contributing to the Tourism Law Observatory of Latin America and the Caribbean as an Academic Expert and Associated Researcher.
